Abstract:Based on the definition of the connotation of marine ecological island and draw lessons from the related research domestic and foreign, this article build aevaluation framework of marine ecological islands construction. Five target layers for marine ecological island construction index system are established, based on averaging weight method, island characteristics and the situation of socio-economic development: intensive conservation, environment-friendly, economic development, social harmony and scientific, and technological innovation. Concretely, thematic layers are established based on 49 basic indicators to characterize the thematic condition. Finally, an application example is showed out. We choose Chongming Island as the object of evaluation, 36 indicators were selected. The result shows that in the ecological island construction of Chongming, there are 10 indicators didn't reach the standard, like forest acreage, COD emission intensity, etc. The synthesize score is 0.925. The evaluation results are consistentto the fact of ChongmingIsland which mean that the evaluation system has good revelation and applicability.
