Abstract:
A numerical model for source searching is presented for the marine oil spill pollution accident in this paper, based on the tidal current field simulation of hydrodynamics model, wind field data and their anti-direction coupling. The tidal current field before the found moment of oil spill is simulated by the hydrodynamics model. The tidal current field database is established. The marine wind field database is collected and set up before the oil spill found moment. The numerical model for source searching is constructed with the anti-direction coupling of tidal current field and wind field. The source of marine oil spill pollution accident could be found by the anti-direction searching, combined with the overlay of electronic chart. Case study in the Fangcheng Port of Guangxi Province is conducted for validating the presented method. Verification results show the presented method is reliable, based on the tidal current field simulation of hydrodynamics model, wind field data and their anti-direction coupling. A reasonable search space for the further precise positioning of the marine oil spill pollution accident could be provided by the invariant envelope scope of oil spill.
