Preliminary discussion on development technology for standard reference materials of pops in marine sediments

  • Environmental standard reference materials are used for environmental monitoring, which are mainly prepared by environmental matrices as candidates.Target pollutants in candidates will be certified.Standard reference materials of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in marine sediments are the most important part of environmental standard reference materials.This article mainly reviewed the development technologies of environmental standard reference materials of POPs in marine sediments.The development procedures of matrix reference materials from marine sediments, e.g., candidates, the analytical and certificating methods, inspection in preparation, etc., were mainly analyzed and discussed.The development technologies of environmental standard reference materials of POPs in marine sediments were further outlooked.
