Study on sea carrying capacity evaluation and early warning of Jinzhou bay based on marine functional zonation

  • It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the adaptive scale of large-scale marine utilization and the carrying capacity of resources and environment.Marine functional zonation is the basic basis for the management of marine space development and utilization. This paper collected and arranged the sea area use type area and marine function zones area of the Jinzhou bay in 2007 and 2014, according to the resource consumption coefficient and the allowable exploitation factor constructed the evaluation method of carrying capacity of exploitation and utilization of sea area based on the variable fuzzy computing model. The main conclusions of this study could be summarized as follows:(1) From 2007 to 2014, the sea area used in Jinzhou bay increased, and the development carrying capacity of the sea area changed from critical overload to overload. It is shown that the use types of the sea area near Jinzhou bay are changed to the types with high resource consumption coefficient; (2) The intensity and carrying capacity index of exploitation and utilization in the central area of Jinzhou Bay are higher than those in the northern and southern regions, the early warning level of the development carrying capacity of its sea areas reached an extremely heavy warning level in 2014.Therefore, the region should pay attention to the rational planning of sea area utilization and strengthen the adjustment of sea area utilization structure; (3) In the south of Jinzhou bay from 2007 to 2014, the activity of exploitation and utilization was strong, and the index of carrying capacity of sea area increased by 39.6%, which was higher than that in the north and central regions.
