The study on marine ecological safety pattern based on marine ecological quality aims identification

The status and their shortcomings in the marine ecological safety pattern of current marine spatial plans were summarized. It was proposed that the marine ecological safety pattern should orientate the marine ecological quality aims. Thus the determinationof spatial boundaries and grids and identification of the marine ecological quality aims were studied, and the marine ecological quality aims in the specific spatial grid were designated through gap analyses. Then on the bases of these, it was proposed that the conservation and management measures of marine ecosystem should base on the marine ecological quality aims, and the integrating marine spatial plans should be combined to that aims' level. Finally, the institution of integrating marine safety should optimized based on integrated marine management.
